Summary:
Gender equality is a basic human right that is supported in Viet Nam by the Party and the State. Efforts in implementing gender equality policies and principles in Vietnam have been recognized by the international community. However, many shortcomings and limitations remainand these requireGovernment, individual and community participation to be resolved. Based on the data collectedand current gender equality policy implementation, the article analyzes the achievements and challenges faced by Vietnamese women, and suggests solutions to promote gender equality in Vietnam.
